My name is Harmonie King. I have been a photographer for 15 years.
I started taking pictures in high school. I went to Manchester
Craftman’s Guild on the North Side where I was given my first
camera and fell in love. Years later my cousin asked me to take the
black & white pictures at her wedding, and I fell in love all over again.
I went to work for a photographer as an assistant. Soon after, I
started my own business from my home. That was in 2002. In
January of 2008 I decided it was time to open a studio. After a long
search I found a place and opened in April.
My passion is combining elements of fine art with photojournalism
and the result truly portrays the heart of a couple's most special day,
capturing each fleeting moment as it unfolds. I love what I do,and
feel honored when a bride and groom hire me to photograph their
special day.
